BEAUTIFYING BACKSBERG BY UNVEILING THE NEW MR & MRS VAN ASWEGEN ALL THE WAY FROM PRETORIA

What a novel pleasure to shoot an entire wedding party who 'migrated' en mass from Pretoria to the Cape Winelands to share in the exquisite wedding day of Natalie and Willem. Backsberg is at the epicenter of the Cape Winelands (equal distances from Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek(www.backsberg.co.za). Thanks to N&W for their energy, enthusiasm and patience during our photo-shoot. You two are gorgeous!
Natalies 'beauty bridal session' in progress
The bride got dressed at the exclusive and lavish Molenvliet cottages (www.molenvliet.co.za)
This is an image worth 'lighting up'. Heart-felt thanks to the brides dad Carel Booth for creating all the magic metal pieces including this magnificent and unique bridal dress coat hanger for her daughters big day.
As the hair /make-up artist weave their magic, space is often limited, so I snuggled up behind a bunch of orange pinchusions and shot this image through them. Hair and make-up thanks to Corle Barnard (http://corlemakeup.co.za)

A proud mom and dad amidst towering and spell bounding mountain views at Molenvliet
This photograph is reminiscent of my favourite quote: 'A photograph is a biography of a moment'

Natalie's dress fanned itself out forming the perfect centerpiece to the surrounding and extremely large wooden wine vats.
Flowers thanks to Mint and Magnolia http://www.mintandmagnolia.co.za
Its a 'barrel of fun' getting married amidst these historic wine vats at Backsberg wine estate: (http://backsberg.co.za
Happy days to the new Mr & Mrs Van Aswegen--CHEERS
Backsberg not only boasts stunning manicured gardens, but I love these weeping willow trees all over the estate which form the perfect backdrop for family pics with its soothing colours.
And as the saying goes- 'Boys will be boys'
Who needs 'family formals' when you can have some 'family fun'

Backsberg boasts one of the most perfect lined 'oak-avenues' you will ever see
Willem displaying his 'imaginary' guitar playing skills.
Natalie and Willem sneaking a moment below the towering Simonsberg mountains in the distance

Welcome to the new Mr & Mrs Backsberg on the block and thanks to Lee-Anne Van Ryneveld who has been responsible for the smooth and slick running of events at Backsberg for the past 8 years (events@backsberg.co.za)

Dripping in lindt, this cake was the sweetest highlight of the evening thanks to Kanya Hunt http://www.kanyahunt.co.za
Natalie and Willem 'putting their foot in it' with their answers much to the delight of their friends
Willem doing a highly impressive rendition of the Gangnam dance
This Dr has his galloping and lasso technique of the Gangnam dance down to an art-form

The music from DJ Glen (http://djglen.co.za) was so good that people were running in fast forward for more.
Party time with friends all feeling the good VIBES
Deliciously sweet catering thanks to Extreem Kwizeen at (http://www.extreemkwizeen.co.za)
