MEGAN & ASHER - THE VINEYARD HOTEL & SPA, CAPE TOWN

Location, Location, Location---The Vineyard Hotel and Spa in Claremont Cape Town has it all
(http://www.vineyard.co.za/). From its central location in the city, to their sweeping mountain vistas, and endless green, lush landscapes on offer in their protected gardens. A truely remarkable venue for a spectacular couple such as Megan and Asher. Jewish weddings are priceless to photograph - they are laden with traditions and unequalled festivities on the dancefloor make them 'party paradise'.

Despite the reception being held indoors, the Vineyard's impressive mountainous views can be such a welcome relief from the South-Easter wind which is often blowing during wedding season.

Megan's stylish dress was from Robyn Roberts studio (http://www.robynroberts.co.za/home.html
and her hair by Eugune at Wim Coiffeur in Sea Point, (wimcoiffeur@yahoo.com). If you are looking for  a 'zen-like' and stylishly simple hair salons, then Eugene and Wim are the guys for you, while all the vintage charm of the decor was thanks to 'My Pretty Vintage' decor hire and floral design (http://www.myprettyvintage.com/). For an eclectic mix of music the band Guru are your guys (http://www.bands4africa.co.za/index.php/artist-listings/115-guru). Last but not least, if you are looking for a spectacular and romantic photographic sunset beach session, then look no further than Glen Beach---just be warned, if the South-Easter is in session, be prepared to literally be swept off your feet(www.safarinow.com/destinations/camps.../Beaches/Glen-Beach.aspx)

CARLA & WENDELL -- WINCHESTER MANSIONS, Sea Point, Cape Town

What I loved about shooting this wedding is that it epitomized the 'Rainbow Nation' in more ways than one. Starting with the wedding ceremony at Winchester Mansions www.winchester.co.za to the photoshoots along Sea Points shoreline, to their 'Urban Energy' shoot in Cape Town, to the Radisson Blu's www.radissonblu.com/hotel-capetown panaromic views for the cocktail party, all the way back to their colonial courtyard at the Winchester Mansion for the evening reception. This wedding was an endless feast of smiles, the festive power of surprises by Denzil Washington look-a-like husband Wendell, to an endless supply of colours on offer in our city--from perfect pinks, purples, blues and African earthy hues--this wedding captured it all. Love, romance, vibrant chemistry, beauty and a endless supply happiness and love. Thanks to both Carla and Wendell for all the good vibes during the shoot--you two are magic!

Carla's 'Maggie and Sottero's' wedding gown can be found at Eva's Brida'wear (http://www.evesbridalwear.co.za/ContactUs.aspx) while the boys stunning attire can be found at (http://www.brideandco.co.za/

The interactive beauty of city shoots--we ask a local street sax player to loan his sax so that hubbie could 'strut his stuff'

SURPRISE darling--Wendell sneakingly pulls out his microphone from pocket to sing to his new bride.
World Class views from the Radisson Blu with both Table Mountain and the world cup stadium looming large in the backround

The courtyard is set in the style of an Italian Piazza with its fountain as the centre piece.
