TIE THE KNOT AT THE VINEYARD HOTEL - CAPE TOWN'S FINEST INDOOR/OUTDOOR WEDDING VENUE.

WARNING: My first blogpost boasting a PG rating of 16. Aided with my camera and quick 'side-step' follow me and my camera as I  endeavoring to answer the complex question of what constitutes a  'True Scotman'. Never before have I seen a dance floor so explosive with entertainment and astonishing personality power . Thanks to Lauren and Anthony for the abundance of good laughs and to Anthony and all his bestmen, for reminding us all just how good blokes actually look in skirts.
One of the seven resident leopard tortoises at the Vineyard kindly pointing me in the right direction to the bride's room.. This tortoise who lives on grass and succulents is said to be around 100 years old (
Lauren keenly 'tracking her transformation' in the mirror thanks to Genee Foulston from radi8makeup (www.radi-8.co.za)
While back at the ranch, the 'boys at the bar' sobering up their souls for the big moment that awaits.
Leader of the pack--Lauren looking gorgeous as she leads her bridesmaids one step closer towards her man of the moment.

Proud papa alongside the family 'bagpiper' who added a wonderfully stately to the whole procession.

The Vineyard Hotel is one of the best indoor/outdoor wedding venue in Cape Town. All rooms are bathed in natural light with stunning views of Table Mountain the their 6 acres of sprawling gardens. (www.vineyard.co.za)

Welcome to the new Mr & Mrs on the Vineyard Block

The 'Kilt Crazy' wedding party laughing up a storm.
'Formal fever' finally hits the wedding party for this shot

Lauren and Anthony catching a quite romantic moment in the gardens
 Serenading through a smile

Anthony modeling his kilt to the max: (The kilt is a knee-length garment with pleats at the rear, originating in the traditional dress of men and boys in the Scottish Highlands of the 16th century. It is most often made of woolen cloth in a tartan pattern and in recent years being adapted as an item of fashionable informal male clothing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kilt)

Now that's what you call a 'HEARTFELT' wedding party in loving unison with their dashing bride and groom.
Bring on the Bagpipes and the bride. This bagpiper added a wonderfully Celtic flavor to the whole wedding proceedings (http://www.raleighbagpiper.com/Weddings.aspx)

Granny getting ready for 'Lift-off'.  Is this groomsmen a 'True Scotsman" which is a humorous term used in Scotland for a man wearing a kilt without undergarments. This term has entered Scottish lore as a rite and expression of light-hearted curiosity about the custom which originated in the military. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/True_Scotsman)
1st- Bestman gives photographer a warning, 2nd - Photographer starts focusing on new improved target - 3 Photograher gets a free show, balls and all. 4. ???Who has the last laugh! hahaha Moral of the story--never trust a photographer who can move quicker than you, especially when they are shooting with a lens you don't recognize!

All the groomsmen thoughts going 'up in smoke'
Anthony and his groomsmen in'flamed' with laughter--Cuban cigars definitely bringing out the best in this 'crazy kilt gang'
That is one whimsical and deliriously happy bride and some romantic 'light painting' to end off the evening on a hot an fiery note. Sparkles thanks to A
