RIJKS COUNTRY HOUSE, TULBAGH. CAROL & MICHELLE'S UNIQUE DAY

What a perfect wedding day at Rijks Country House (www.rijkscountryhouse.co.za) in Tulbagh. A small intimate wedding set amidst the vines, with Cape-Dutch manor house looming large in the backround. Judy Brown's soothing and sexy saxophone relaxing all (www.liquidsax.co.za) while a visiting hawk impressed all above with its impromptu aerodynamic display. Most importantly, the bridal couple got to feast on a seemingly endless array of grand imposing cloud-cover above. Pinotage cheers to you both for a cracking day.

Rijks is a boutique winery situated in the picturesque Tulbagh valley and dedicated to producing
award-wining Chenin Blanc, Shiraz and Pinotage (www.rijks.co.za). For an indulgent orchestra of berries, try a glass of their 2009 Private Cellar Pinotage--heavenly.

THE 25th ANNUAL SA MASTERS WATERPOLO @ HILLCREST QUARRY, CAPE TOWN

The 25th annual SA Masters Waterpolo tournament was played in thee most glorious of surroundings at Hillcrest Wine and Olive farm over the weekend in Durbanville, Cape Town (http://www.hillcrestfarm.co.za/).
Im still debating which was more appetizing and enthralling, the sensational views on offer at the quarry, or all the muscle power on display (http://www.facebook.com/CapeTownWaterpoloMasters?fref=ts). You decide!
Anyone interested in purchasing any of these images, please contact me via my website (www.charnelltimms.co.za)

Apparently all waterpolo players share some common unidentifiable language! hahaha
Anyone out there want to help me decipher--please leave suggestions below.

Waterpolo players have 'got balls' just parading around in their speedo's all day long!
                                                                      But here I go--zooming in!

Definately no 'quandry' for these players to jump into the quarry for their next game!

Too good!
The tension!

Water temperature @ 22 degrees celsius in the quarry

FRENCH CONNECTIONS-LEANDRE & JULIEN'S WEDDING AT WELGELEE, STELLENBOSCH

Romantic raindrops were the order of the day at this wedding at Welgelee in Stellenbosch (http://www.welgelee.com/). I am not sure if it was me or hubby Julien who screamed louder with delight when the sun came out briefly, but thanks to you both for 'pushing on' amidst all temperamental weather patches and keeping your sense of humour throughout. A big up to wedding planner Stephanie Burgher from Sapphire & Sands (www.weddingplanner101.co.zafor handling all the rain-induced changes with such impressive calmness. And for all those BTB (brides to be) who are looking for live entertainment to keep guests busy while you are out having your photo-session--look no further than the fantastic wooden board game called Jenga on offer at Welgelee--it's a winner!
