DAVE & JOSHUA - TABLE MOUNTAIN, CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA

What a treat it was to be back shooting ontop of Table mountain--my first wedding shoot since it's legendary announcement in 2012 as the 7th new natural wonder of the world. (www.tablemountain.net). The buzz in the cable car going up was incredible-- when they announced we were approaching the 7th New natural wonder of the world, the anticipation and excitement was tangiable, and its moments like these that one can not help but feel both proud and lucky to be South African.

International couple ( Dave from Canada & Joshua from Ghana) couldn't have chosen a more iconic spot on a perfect, windless summers day to tie the knot.  Thanks to Mary from Pink Confetti wedding events specialists (www.pinkconfetti.co.za), not only for ensuring that everything ran smoothly, but for providing her ongoing shade and 'watering-hole' supplies during the shoot. And to Dave and Joshua for 'pushing on' and jumping around with me from rock to rock in the scorching heat and their willingness to play 'duck and dive' with all the budding tourists on the mountaintop. I am sure you both agree, that these views make it all worth it. Enjoy!

AARJAN & SEETAL @ BISHOPS & GROOT CONSTANTIA

There is something both quaint and enduring about witnessing old Bishops school boys returning from their successful careers abroad to get married at Bishops Diocesan College in Ronderbosch, in thee most charming Brooke's Stone Chapel.( www.bishops.org.za)

From there the couple continued on their historical route to South Africa's most famous and first wine farm, Groot Constania (www.grootconstantia.co.za). The reception took place at the small cozy Cape Dutch styled Jonkershuis (www.jonkershuisconstantia.co.za). While the guests chilled out under the glorious ancient oaks and were serenaded by the soothing sounds eminating from the Harp, I got to enjoy the 'couple shoot' filled with an extraordinary array of vineyards from seemingly every elevation you could think of---at Groot Constantia it seems that the 'sky truely is the limit for DeVINE time.

NEISHA & ALESSANDRO'S WEDDING

Moyo, Spier Wine Estate

Neisha and Alessandro's international wedding in the garden courtyard at Moyo (www.moyo.co.za) on the grounds of Spier Wine Estate (www.spier.co.za) was an ideal choice for this intimate celebration. The tree-lined garden courtyard is filled with bedouin tents and gazebos made from wrought iron, beautiful copper and mosaic water features and an almost endless array of fairy tale pink roses. A brilliant blend of romance and African ambiance.

The bride could not have blended in with her surrounding more perfectly--from her African footprint shoes, to her sandstone dress, to her  bold and beautiful Protea wedding bouquet, but most importantly, this couple's ability to party to the rhythm of their roots. If you look through the photo's I am sure you might agree on this LOVE SCORE:
