Lee and Greg's wedding at the luxurious Grand Dedale in Wellington (www.granddedale.com) was one of thee most private, and intimate weddings I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. The rose arch embodied pure romance and was perfect for Lee's classic sense of style. Greg's speech was another winning moment---it is not often that you get to witness the groom single out every guest in his speech, often with a humorous story attached. Between the vineyards, striking roses, towering mountainside, Cape Dutch architecture, horse paddocks and orange orchards, this venue was tranquility personified.

Cape Town Weddings & Wacky Weather
As a photographer, the best thing about living on Blouberg beachfront during our summer wedding season, is that from the moment you awake, all that is needed to get a quick synopsis of what sort of weather/wedding awaits in the wings, is to take a quick look outside. Between Table Mountain, the ocean, cloud cover, direction in which ships are pointing and sporting activities taking place around you, you are provided not only with some mind-blowing beauty, but a minefield of information.
As you look at the pics I hope you too will be able to feel the pleasure and pain of the heat, wind and all the beauty that abounds. ENJOY!

50s Themed Wedding
I met Abbi and Paul at a pub in Covent Garden the day after doing
a shoot in London. Seconds after meeting them, I knew their wedding was going
to be a stunner as they had the perfect blend of romantic energy and creative
ideas.
Not to disappoint, I was flown up to Jozies where their choice of venue
was the historic and remarkable Jessep Girls High School, a perfect choice for
their '50's themed wedding. Bridemaids in Polka dots, wedding cake going
dotty, old LP records being converted into placemats and you get the
idea----Thanks to both Abbi and Paul for your novel wedding day and for
making me feel like the authentic 'swinging sixties' photographer.
